Thank you for shopping with Thakurghor. We are committed to delivering your orders safely and on time so that your rituals and celebrations are never interrupted.
Please read our Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship across India through trusted courier partners.
- Delivery is available in most serviceable pincodes
- Some remote or restricted areas may have limited delivery options
If your location is not serviceable, we will inform you and process a full refund (if prepaid).
2. Order Processing Time
- Orders are usually processed within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation
- Customized or made-to-order items may take additional processing time
- Orders are not processed on Sundays or public holidays
You will receive an update once your order is packed and ready for dispatch.
3. Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines:
- Kolkata & nearby areas: 2–5 working days
- Rest of India: 5–10 working days under normal circumstances. Remote locations and festive periods may take up to 15–20 working days.
Please note:
- Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary
- Delays may occur due to weather, courier issues, festivals, or unforeseen circumstances
- We are not responsible for delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics or other events beyond our reasonable control.
4. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order value, weight, and delivery location
- Free shipping may be available on orders above a certain amount (as per ongoing offers)
📦 Volumetric Weight
Some products (like topor, decorative items, or fragile puja items) require larger packaging for safety.
In such cases, shipping is calculated based on volumetric weight, not actual weight.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped:
- You will receive a tracking ID via SMS, email, or WhatsApp
- You can track your shipment through the courier partner’s website
Please allow 24 hours for tracking details to become active.
6. Delivery Attempts
- Courier partners usually make 2–3 delivery attempts
- If the delivery fails due to customer unavailability or incorrect address, the order may be returned
In such cases:
- Re-shipping charges will be applicable
- No refund will be issued for shipping charges
7. Customer Responsibility
To ensure smooth delivery:
- Provide accurate name, address, and contact details
- Be available to receive the package or arrange someone on your behalf
- Do not accept tampered or visibly damaged packages
If you receive a damaged parcel, please record an unboxing video (as required in our Return Policy).
8. Delays & Courier Responsibility
Once the order is shipped:
- Delivery is handled by third-party courier partners
- Thakurghor is not responsible for delays caused by courier companies
However, we will assist you in tracking and resolving delivery issues.
9. Multiple Shipments
In some cases:
- Your order may be shipped in multiple packages
- This may happen due to product availability or packaging requirements
You will be informed if your order is split.
10. Order Status Updates
You will receive updates at key stages:
- Order confirmation
- Dispatch notification
- Out for delivery (handled by courier)
11. Undelivered / Returned Orders
If an order is returned to us due to:
- Incorrect address
- Customer not available
- Refusal to accept delivery
Then:
- Re-shipping will be done only after additional shipping payment
- Refunds (if applicable) will exclude shipping charges
12. Festive Season Notice
During peak seasons (Durga Puja, Kali Puja, etc.):
- Processing and delivery times may be longer than usual
- We recommend placing orders in advance
